Narrative

The goal of my job as Assistant to the Director of Graduate Studies is to work as a team member with the department faculty, students, and staff to make sure each student's experience and opportunities are the best that they can be during their tenure in the Department of Philosophy. I am a strong proponent for each learner to have a foundation in the liberal arts and sciences. I have experience in education administration and human development and have worked in both academic and medical departments. My background is in studio arts - drawing, painting, and new media. My undergraduate degree is in studio arts from Ripon College, and my master's degree is in history and philosophy of education from the University of Minnesota. I spent a year abroad studying literary and critical theory in Paris, France. Currently I'm taking classes to increase my knowledge of emergent technologies and new media.
